LIBRARY CIRCULATION DESK

The Altoona Area Public Library is taking applications for PART-TIME circulation desk positions. Candidate must have computer knowledge, problem solving abilities, and Customer Service experience with children and/or adults. Candidates MUST be able to work daytime, evening, and Saturday hours.  Minimum wage. High school diploma or GED required.  Deadline to apply – February 8, 2013.

Toasty Toddler Donations

The Youth Room at the Altoona Area Public Library is accepting donations of NEW hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, snowsuits, and coats. Sizes newborn to 4T, 5/6 or small.

Toasty Toddler is a project that provides warm winter outerwear for children birth through age four. The program is coordinated by the Family Resource Center at the United Way of Blair County.

Donations will be collected until December 7, 2012.

Please assist us in helping the young children of Blair County!
