Summer time is a time to be celebrated. It’s a time to embark on new adventures, relax with family and friends and of course, the perfect time to enjoy a 'good read.' Our hope for the people of our community is to truly get the most out of their summertime reading. Whether you're curling up by the shore with the latest bestselling novel or reading to prepare to take on your upcoming home remodeling project, let us help you enjoy it.  Children, teens, and adults, please join us this year for the Summer Reading Program at the Altoona Area Public Library. We have lots of exciting programs, prizes, and events planned for all ages. Reading books is a great summer pastime. Reading books and winning prizes is even better.
