Teens from Goodwill Donate Bookmarks

Teens from Goodwill donated all natural bookmarks containing seeds for planting to celebrate Earth Day. The bookmarks were then given out to Library patrons. Thanks to Steven Rosepink and Damon Lynn who are featured in the picture with Teen Services Librarian Amy Horell.

Friends of the Library to hold program

The Friends of the Altoona Area Public Library present their Annual Spring Program: Sheep A Rare Opportunity.  Guest Speakers are William Churchill and Fred Stowell of Underhill Farm. Knitters, felters, & crochet enthusiasts will especially enjoy getting acquainted with the heritage Breed of sheep, Leicester Longwools, & Angora goats that produce beautiful, lustrous yarns!
