The Altoona Area Public Library will be hosting an All Day Knit-In on Saturday, from 9am – 4pm in the Boardroom. Come for a few hours or stay all day. Enjoy the company of others who enjoy doing handiwork. If you have question or would like to learn, there will be teachers available. Beginners bring size 8 needles, and some light colored yarn. “Talk About a Good Book” Discussion Group, held every 2nd Monday of the Month will take place on June 12th at 6:45pm in the Alumni Room at the Altoona Area Public Library. June’s selection is “Commonwealth” by Ann Patchett.
