Become a Volunteer Adult Education Tutor!
Volunteers are needed in the Altoona Area School District to provide assistance to adult learners who are seeking their high school equivalency (GED), improving English as a Second Language or brushing up on basic literacy or math skills to enter post-secondary education, training, or employment.
No experience needed – training provided. Tutors must possess a 4-year degree or be currently enrolled in a 4 year degree program and be available to meet for a minimum of 3 hrs per week.
